<p>Compounds (A), obtained by reacting (a) epoxide compounds having at least two epoxide groups with (b) substituted alkoxylated urethane compounds (I) and optionally (c) alcohol compounds (II), are new. Compounds (A), obtained by reacting (a) epoxide compounds having at least two epoxide groups with (b) substituted alkoxylated urethane compounds of formula (H-(O-CH(X)-CH 2) n-O-CH(R1)-CH 2-O-C(=O)-N(R2)-(CH 2-CH(Y1)-O-) m-H) (I) and optionally (c) alcohol compounds of formula (R4-OH) (II), are new. R1 : H, 1-3C alkyl or R3; R2 : optionally saturated or one- or more-times olefinically unsaturated 2-22C alkyl; R3 : saturated 1-3C alkyl, where one of the carbon atoms is substituted by -O-(CH 2-CHZ-O) p-H; X, Y1, Z : H or CH 3; R4 : 6-22C alkyl; and n, m, p : 0-45, provided that at least one of n, m or p is greater than 0 and the sum of n+m+p is 2-70. An independent claim is included for a thickener concentrate comprising water, one or more of (A), and optionally one or more organic solvents and/or non-ionic surfactant including addition compounds of ethylene- and/or propylene-oxide with 8-22C fatty alcohols.</p> |
