METHOD TO PROTECT THE JAR FILE CONTAINING J2ME APPLICATION FROM UNAUTHORIZED COPY AND DISASSEMBLY

PURPOSE: A method for protecting a JAR file containing J2ME application is provided to prevent a source code leakage due to unauthorized copy or a reverse compile. CONSTITUTION: An encrypted JAR file is decoded using a private key established during the JAVA platform development(301). A supplementary information is extracted(302). It is determined whether the supplementary information is able to be reproduced or not(303). If the supplementary information is accorded, the original JAR file is stored to a temporary storage(304).
