PURPOSE: An operation control method of a connectable audio output device by using a local communication with a portable terminal are provided to block transmitting a reproducing command to the portable terminal, redialing command or volume control command during predetermined time through a connection through the local communication with the portable terminal. CONSTITUTION: An audio control unit determines AVRCP(Audio Video Remote Control Profile) connection state about a portable terminal if a replay key is inputted(S300,S305). If it is not a AVRCP connection state, the audio control unit controls an AVRCP connection with the portable terminal(S310). If it is a A2DP(Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) connection state about the portable terminal, the audio control unit processes a AVRCP replay command(S315,S320). If it is the A2DP connection state, the audio control unit controls the A2DP connection with the portable terminal(S325).
