PURPOSE: A computer component information supplying apparatus and method thereof are provided to supply information about computer components in consideration of an application program which a user wants to run. CONSTITUTION: One or more application programs is set up from a user(S110). Computer component which is able to run an inputted application program is searched(S120, S130). The searched computer performance is compared with each compute component. Optimal performance according to each computer component is determined according to the compared result(S140). Information about computer components is supplied to a user based on the determined performance(S150).
