PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control bush with a new and simple structure capable of improving damping characteristics while sufficiently securing low dynamic spring characteristics by formation of a slit. SOLUTION: A pair of flat contact surfaces 28, 28 respectively expanding in a vibration input direction are formed at both side end surfaces in a peripheral direction of a stopper protruding part 22 protruding into the slit 20 and a pair of slide-contact protruding parts 30, 30 erecting in the slit 20 opposite to the stopper protruding part 22 at both sides across the stopper protruding part 22 in the peripheral direction. At periphery opposite inner surfaces in the pair of slide-contact protruding parts 30, 30, a pair of flat slide-contact surfaces 32, 32 respectively expanding in the vibration input direction are formed and the pair of contact surfaces 28, 28 are brought into slide-contact with each of the slide-contact surfaces 32 in the slit 20 at the time of vibration input in an axially vertical direction toward between an inner shaft member 12 and an outer cylinder member 14.
