PURPOSE: A light emitting device is provided to convert the wavelength of the light generated from the light emitting chip by comprising the wavelength conversion unit which has the nano particle inside the porosity porous silica. CONSTITUTION: An opening is formed in a housing(110). A light emitting diode(120) is mounted in the housing and generates the light. A wavelength converter(130) converts the wavelength of the light generating from the light emitting chip. The wavelength converter comprises the porous silica and a plurality of nano particles having a plurality of holes.
