MICROORGANISM HAVING GLUTAMIC ACID-PRODUCING ACTIVITY AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING GLUTAMIC ACID USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A novel Corynebacterium sp. with glutamic acid productivity and a method for producing glutamic acid using the same are provided. CONSTITUTION: A Corynebacterium sp. BC 144(KCTC 11559BP) stain has a glutamic acid productivity. A method for preparing the glutamic acid comprises: a step of culturing Coynebacterium sp. BC 144(KCTC 11558BP) and a step of collecting glutamic acid from the culture. The culture is performed in a medium containing molasse as a carbon source; or a mixture of molasse and raw sugar as a carbon source.
