PURPOSE: A disk brake for a vehicle is provided to prevent a pad spring from being displaced by being fixed and inserted into a fixed groove formed on the outside of a carrier. CONSTITUTION: A disk brake for a vehicle comprises a disk(10), inner and outer disk pads(31,35), a carrier(20), and a pad spring(50). The carrier supports inner and outer disk pads to move forward and backward to both sides of the disk. The pad spring comprises a top pressing portion(51), a joint(53), a guide portion(55), and a support portion(57). The top pressing portion is attached to the top surface of the carrier. The joint connects to the top pressing portion and is coupled with a coupling projection. The guide portion is connected to the joint and is coupled between the slide groove and the protrusion. The support portion connects to the guide portion and supports the bottom of the protrusions(34,38).
