PURPOSE: A system and method for controlling voltage of electric power system are provided to effectively control the reactive power of overall electric power system using an output data of a continuous reactive power source. CONSTITUTION: A field information acquisition apparatus(200) generates a bus voltage information using initial voltage information from a plurality of representative bus line. A continuous voltage controller(300) generates voltage comparison information using the bust voltage information and the voltage reference information. The continuous voltage controller generates the reactive power output rate information by using the voltage contrast information. A reactive power distributor(400) generates reactive power reference information using the output information of the continuous reactive power source(500) and reactive power output rate information.
