PURPOSE: A protection circuit for an electric device is provided to cut off the supply of abnormal overvoltage to a circuit part. CONSTITUTION: A first input unit(V1in) receives first voltage(5V) from the outside, and a second input unit(V2in) receives the voltage different from the first voltage. A first output unit(V1out) outputs the first voltage. The power control unit cuts off the output of the first voltage through the first output unit. The power control unit includes a switching unit(100) and a control signal generating unit which generates a control signal for the switching unit.
