The pneumatic tire has multiple peripheral grooves (1) provided circumferentially in a peripheral direction. A profile rib (2) is provided circumferentially in the peripheral direction. The profile rib exhibits a spherical rising (3) over the periphery of the profile rib, where the spherical rising extends between rib edges (2a) of the profile rib, and a maximum height (h) of the spherical rising amounts to a maximum 1.5 millimeter with respect to a straight connecting line provided between the rib edges in an axial direction.
