PURPOSE: A method of searching for data of a karaoke player is provided to search for a sing title rapidly while maintaining the minimum capacitance of a database. CONSTITUTION: At a database of a karaoke player, a left index, a right index and a comparison object index are defined(130). The value of the comparison object index is calculated(150). The data of the corresponding comparison index is extracted(160). The extracted data are pre-processed(170), and are displayed on a display unit connected to the karaoke system(190).
