SWASH PLATE TYPE COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE: A swash plate type compressor reducing the frictional heat generated between a swash plate and shoe is provided to improve the durability of elements by reducing the friction between the swash plate and shoe by using oil. CONSTITUTION: A swash plate type compressor comprises front and rear cylinder blocks(12,12'), a driving shaft(24), a swash plate(26), a hub(28), and a piston(32). A cylinder bore(12a) and a swash plate room(22) are formed in the front and rear cylinder blocks. The driving shaft passes through the front and rear cylinder blocks and receives the power required for the compression of refrigerant from the driving source. The swash plate is installed in the driving shaft and revolves along with the driving shaft in the swash plate room. The hub is combined with the driving shaft. The piston is connected with the swash plate across a shoe(27) and straightly reciprocates in the cylinder bore according to the rotational motion of the swash plate. A guide groove(30) is formed in the hub. The oil mixed with refrigerant is welled in the guide groove. The gap of the swash plate and shoe is oiled.
