Cylinder has in its two end positions locking elements engaging the piston. The locking element coordinated with the piston in the position is shaped and arranged so that it is kept out of engagement with the piston by the operating pressure of the pneumatic or hydraulic medium. Use: making perforations in the walls of reduction furnaces producing aluminium.
