PURPOSE: An optical assembly, a backlight unit and a display apparatus thereof are provided to improve the image quality of a display. CONSTITUTION: An optical assembly comprises: a first layer(210); plural light sources(220) which are formed on the first layer and includes a light emitting plane emitting light and having an oriented angle; a second layer which is formed in an upper portion of the first layer and encloses the plural light sources; a pattern layer which is arranged in the upper portion of the second layer and includes plural patterns at a portion corresponding to the plural light sources.
