<p>PURPOSE: An O/W cosmetic composition is provided to enhance hardness of the cosmetics and to improve formulation stability. CONSTITUTION: An O/W cosmetic composition contains polymers of branched chain with a lipophilic alkyl chain and anionic surfactant. The polymers are acrylate/C10-30, alkyl acrylate cross polymer, C12-22 alkyl methacrylate copolymers, or acrylate/beheneth-25 methacryalte copolymer. The anionic surfactant is potassium cetylphosphate, aluminum isostearyl glyceryl phosphate, or sodium lauryl phosphate.</p> |
