The invention relates to a method for performing resource coordination of a cell (C1) with at least one neighbouring cell (C2 to C7) of a cellular network (1), the method comprising: dividing the area of radio coverage of the cell (C1) into a plurality of self-organizing network, SON, sub-areas (A1 to A7), determining a characteristic value of at least one resource parameter for at least one of the SON sub-areas (A1 to A7), and performing at least one SON resource coordination action based on the at least one characteristic value of the at least one SON sub-area (A1 to A7) of the cell (C1) and on at least one characteristic value of at least one resource parameter of at least one SON sub-area (A1 to A7) of the at least one neighbouring cell (C2 to C7). The invention also relates to a base station (B1) and to a cellular network (1) adapted for implementing the method. |
