PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to improve weldability and current collection ratio of an electrode tab and a cap assembly by widening an attachment area of the electrode tab and the cap assembly through the formation of a long electrode tab. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery comprises: an electrode assembly(12) in which a first electrode plate to which a first electrode tab is connected, a second electrode plate to which a second electrode tab is connected not to be overlapped with the first electrode tab, and a separator laminated therebetween; a can(10) for accommodating the electrode assembly; and a cap assembly(20) for sealing the can. |
