<p>PURPOSE: A method for recovering metal zinc from a zinc-containing material is provided to improve zinc recovery rate by keeping the temperature of a zinc recovery unit lower than that of a vaporizing unit. CONSTITUTION: A method for recovering metal zinc from a zinc-containing material comprises the steps of: forming a vaporizing unit(11) and a zinc recovery unit(12) which are connected or closed to let vaporized zinc flow, heading the zinc-containing material in non-oxidizing gas atmosphere in the vaporizing unit so as to vaporize zinc, and collecting the vaporized zinc by the zinc recovery unit, wherein the temperature of the zinc recovery unit is lower than the temperature of the vaporizing unit.</p> |
