PURPOSE: A method for forming a lithium ion battery is provided to minimize the scattering of delta voltage and unload voltage by performing additional charging between formation charge and output charge. CONSTITUTION: A method for forming a lithium ion battery comprises the steps of: (S1) a first charge step for fully charging a battery; (S2) a discharge step for completely discharging the battery; (S3) a second charge step for charging the battery; (S4) an aging step for leaving the battery; and (S5) a third charge step for charging the battery.
