PURPOSE: A controller for smooth muscle contraction and a method for controlling smooth muscle contraction are provided to induce a calcium signal and contraction of the smooth muscle contraction. CONSTITUTION: A controller for smooth muscle contraction comprises: a pulse laser generator(10) generating pulse laser; a light energy transmission part(30) extended from the pulse laser generator in order to transmit the pulse laser created from the pulse laser generator; an irradiation unit(40) installed at the end part of the light energy transmission part; a smooth muscle contraction pattern measurement unit; a data unit which collects and displays contraction pattern data; and a controller mounted on the pulse laser generator.
