HORIZONTALLY EXTENDED SPHERICAL TYPE LNG TANK WITH MULTI-CURVATURE SURFACES

PURPOSE: A horizontally extended LNG(Liquefied Natural Gas) tank with multiple curve surfaces is provided to increase the storage capacity of an LNG tank and reduce stress concentration on welded parts. CONSTITUTION: A horizontally extended LNG tank with multiple curve surfaces comprises tank parts(20,30) which are symmetrically installed on the right and left sides and have specified curvatures and a horizontal connecting tank part(40) which is installed between the tank parts in order to increase the storage capacity of the LNG tank. The horizontal connecting tank part is formed of two or more arcs with different curvatures that are successively connected from the tank parts.
