PURPOSE: A switch assembly for a vehicle air-conditioner is provided to prevent the temperature and air volume of an air-conditioner from being changed by disturbance. CONSTITUTION: A switch assembly for a vehicle air-conditioner comprises a switch knob, a rotor, and a controller. The switch knob indicates the current position by the indicator. The rotor operates with the switch knob and outputs control signals correspond to the current position of the switch knob. The rotor comprises multiple detent parts(21) and an unstable part(22). The detent part provides setting location for stably stopping the switch knob. The unstable part is formed between the adjacent detent parts and unstably stops the switch knob. When the switch knob rotates below a standard value, the controller stops the output of the control signals corresponding to the rotation quantity of the switch knob.
