<p>Undesirable stress concentrations in the finished product, which lead to leaking of pressure pipes or affect electrical properties of circuit breaker tubes, are avoided by deaerating the impregnated filament. After having passed the impregnation chamber holding a liquid thermosetting resin, the filament is passed through a vacuum chamber, in which its movement is deviated, and then moved to the mandrel in a rectilinear direction.</p> |
