PURPOSE: A catalytic conversion method for improving the productivity of propylene and diesel is provided to prevent other components from remaining when separating diesel, by forming aromatic hydrocarbon. CONSTITUTION: A catalytic conversion method for improving the productivity of propylene and diesel comprises a step of contacting material oil with a catalyst for a catalytic decomposition process, inside a reactor for the catalytic decomposition. The reaction temperature for the process is 450~600deg C. The weight ratio for the catalyst and the material oil for the catalytic decomposition process is 1~30.
