PURPOSE: A winding roller for a rolling mill is provided to extend a service life of elements and replace a sleeve pipe without contact with any elements in repair work. CONSTITUTION: A winding roller for a rolling mill comprises a roller body(52) and a sleeve pipe(54). The roller body reels a working object. The sleeve pipe is detachably installed on the roller body and prevents the contact of the roller body with a target object.
