PURPOSE: A concrete composition and water purifying concrete manufactured thereby are provided to suppress the breeding of sulfur oxidizing bacteria by absorbing heavy metal and purifying water. CONSTITUTION: A concrete composition including cement includes an inorganic antibacterial agent and carbide powder. The fineness of the carbide powder is more than 2,500^2/g. The carbide powder is derived from waste wood powder. The content of the carbide powder is 2 to 5 weight % with respect to the content of the cement. The inorganic antibacterial agent includes Cu-based synthetic zeolite and Ag-based synthetic zeolite. The content of the inorganic antibacterial agent is 1 to 3 weight % with respect to the content of the cement.
