The device has an inlet duct (2) and a duct (6), respectively to supply cold and hot fresh gas streams upstream of an inlet valve (3) of a cylinder (1). A valve (13) mixes the hot and cold gas in variable proportion and delivers the mixture to the cylinder during the lift of the valve (13). Actuators control the valve (13) according to a stratification program of temperature of the load of the cylinder. |
