PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator system which prevents a user from getting on a car other than a called car in a landing elevator hall. SOLUTION: This elevator system includes elevators 8, 9, in-car receivers 24, 25 for receiving a room number from a radio type key 22, and for outputting the room number and a device number, a database for storing the room number of each user in the in-car receivers 24, 25, a collation control unit 26 for collating the room numbers output from the in-car receivers 24, 25, using the room number, and for outputting the room number and the device number, when the both are matched, announcement means 32, 33 of the respective cars, and elevator controllers 13, 17, and any of the elevator controllers 13, 17 operates the announcement means 33 of the car 14, when detecting that a user 35 gets on another car 14 other than the called car 10, based on the car number acquired based on the device number output by the collation control unit 26, and the car number called back to a reference floor based on an objective floor of the user.
