<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traceability system and a manufacturing process failure detecting method for detecting the failure of a manufacturing process at an early stage. <P>SOLUTION: As a predetermined detection condition in order to detect the failure, the number of times in which occurrence of defectives increases in a row on the manufacturing lot basis for defective factors for each of the defective components is set up. When a percentage of the defectives exceeds the predetermined number of times, the manufacturing process is determined as the failure and shown to the user.
