<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purification cartridge where air is hardly stagnated in a gap between a purified water discharge port at the bottom of a housing and a purified water outlet in a water purification part, a finger or the like hardly reaches the purified water outlet, and the housing can be easily manufactured; and to provide a water purifier where a hygienic problem is suppressed and a stable flow volume of purified water can be maintained. <P>SOLUTION: The water purification cartridge 10 is provided with a membrane filtration water purification part 16 which is housed in the housing 12 in such a way that the gap is formed between the membrane filtration water purification part 16 and the bottom 36 of the housing 12. Raw water introduced from the upper side of the housing 12 passes through the membrane filtration water purification part 16 by its own weight and is discharged from the bottom 36 of the housing 12 as the purified water. In the water purification cartridge 10, two or more types of the purified water discharge ports 38 (central and peripheral discharge ports) having different shapes of openings inside the housing 12 are formed in the total number of two or more at the bottom 36 of the housing 12.
