<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve lower power consumption of an LED according to an operating condition by a user. <P>SOLUTION: A subscriber side device includes: a PON (Passive Optical Network) control unit 10 which detects a logical link state with a station side device 2; a connection state detection unit 12 which detects a connection state with a lower rank network side device 7; and an LED part 15 which emits the LED based on the logical link state with the station side device detected by the PON control unit and the connection state with the lower rank network side device detected by the connection state detection unit; a traffic monitor 10a which detects presence of user data to be transmitted to and received from the station side device or the lower rank network side device; and a current control unit 14 which controls luminance of the LED to be emitted by the LED part based on the presence of transmission and reception of the user data detected by the traffic monitor and the connection state with the lower rank network side device detected by the connection state detection unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
