<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel object recognition apparatus distinctively recognizing a vehicle, a bicycle, a person (pedestrian) and the like with high accuracy from a detection pattern of reflection of an on-vehicle radar. <P>SOLUTION: By means of a feature extraction part 8 and a classification score calculation part 9, the detection pattern of reflection of the on-vehicle radar 2 for each frame is classified to one of a plurality of feature patterns prepared for each object. An object attribute estimation part 10 accumulates classification results of pattern recognition on a plurality of time-series frames by a classification means, thereby temporal variations in the moving direction, the attitude and the like of the object are absorbed, and the object is recognized precisely by removing influence thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
