PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap remover for a bottle for drinking water server which does not generate a big uncomfortable sound when the cap is removed and prevents removing errors for the cap from occurring. SOLUTION: This cap remover for the bottle for drinking water server includes: a pressing arm (211) which presses the shoulder section (12) of the bottle (10) by resisting a diagonally upward pulling-up force; a pressing actuator which makes the pressing arm advance/retract between the pressing position where the bottle shoulder section is pressed and the released position where the pressing has been released; a pinching claw (216) which pinches the cap being fitted on the bottle mouth section from sides at the removing position of the cap (14); a pinching actuator which makes the pinching claw advance/retract between the pinching position where the cap is pinched and the released position where the pinching has been released; a lever (212) one end of which is supported to be freely rotatable around a horizontal shaft (214), and by the intermediate section of which the pinching claw is supported; and a removing actuator (215) which lifts the lever around the horizontal shaft on the one end side.
