PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle interior lamp control device suppressing the lighting of a vehicle interior lamp from obstructing the driving of a driver. SOLUTION: The vehicle interior lamp control device 1 lights the lamp 2 when a lighting switch 22 is on, and after determining whether a vehicle is travelling or not according to the travelling speed of the vehicle detected by a speed sensor 21, if the vehicle is travelling, reduces the illuminance of the lamp 2. The vehicle interior lamp control device 1 detects the voltage of an alternator 5 and a battery 6 with a voltmeter 13, calculates a duty ratio in accordance with the detected voltage, outputs a control signal of the calculated duty ratio from a control section 11 to a power supply switching section 12, and adjusts the illuminance of the lamp 2 by switching the power supply/non-supply from a power source to the lamp 2 in accordance with the duty ratio of the control signal.
