Disclosed is a massage device (10) provided with a seat part (12), a backrest (13), and an ottoman (14). One side of the ottoman (14) is provided with an air bag (23) as a massage means, and the other side of the ottoman is provided with a leg-placing part (14c) on which a user can place his legs. The ottoman (14) is supported so as to be able to rotate about an axis of rotation (16a) that extends horizontally. By rotating the ottoman (14), the ottoman (14) can be switched between a massage-capable state and a state in which legs can be placed thereon. The ottoman (14) has a leg rest (14a) and a footrest (14b). The footrest (14b) is configured so as to be able to rotate independently and is provided with a biasing member (31). The biasing member (31) biases the tip of the footrest (14b), which in the massage-capable state is in the front, towards the axis of rotation (16a) with a prescribed biasing force.
