#CMT# #/CMT# The device has groove-shaped longitudinal channels (25) for a cooling agent produced at an area of a front part (2a) of a central opening (2) in a base (1). A stop screw (20) is provided with a central cooling agent channel (22) and fastened in the rear part (2b) of the central opening. A cylindrical tool-shaft (3) having a front surface (3a) is supportable at the stop screw. The cooling agent channel is connectable with the longitudinal channels by an area (24) limited by a passage surface (2c) of the central opening on one side and by the front surface of the tool shaft on another side. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Chucking device i.e. hydraulic expansion chuck, for a machine-cutting tool i.e. end milling cutter. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The cooling agent channel is connectable with the longitudinal channels by the area limited by the passage surface of the central opening on one side and by the front surface of the tool shaft on another side, thus ensuring trouble-free and simple clamping of even cylindrical tool shafts, and steel and carbide metal-shafts of small diameter of 6 mm with high clamping forces without requiring expensive devices such as shrinking or pressing units.
