<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhaust high temperature gas exhausted from an abnormal battery in a battery module to the outside of a case without affecting other normal batteries. <P>SOLUTION: A case 20 housing a plurality of unit cells 100 is partitioned into a housing part 50 housing the plurality of unit cells 100 and an exhaust duct 60 exhausting gas exhausted from a releasing part 8a of the unit cells 100 to the outside of the case 20, with a flat plate 30 arranged at one end of the plurality of unit cells 100. The releasing part 8a of the unit cells 100 is communicated with the exhaust duct 60 through an opening part 30a formed in the flat plate 30. The exhaust duct 60 is partitioned into a first space 61 and a second space 62 with a partition wall 40 arranged between the flat plate 30 and an outer packaging plate 21 of the case 20, and the first space 61 is communicated with the second space 62 through a through-hole 40a formed in the partition wall 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
