<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear and curvilinear motor system smoothly travelling an orbit comprising a linear track and a curved track, and performing an accurate positioning operation. <P>SOLUTION: The linear and curvilinear motor system is equipped with: a linear and curvilinear guiding unit to movably guide the right and the left sides of a slider, with the structure constituted by a linear track and a curved track; and a motor unit having a stator with both a permanent magnet 111a serving as a stator linear-track part and a permanent magnet 111b serving as a stator curved-track part, and a mover arranged at the slider with the stator via a space and has a coil 11 having the linear-track part. The system has an encoder head 30 and a hall sensor 31 to detect the position of the linear and the curved tracks. The radius r in the position detecting point of the curved track is defined as r=λmγm, when a magnetic-pole pitch is determined asλm in the linear track of the stator and the magnetic-pole pitch asγm in the curved track of the stator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
