<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize an operation and execute processing corresponding to the operation with high reliability while reducing the cost. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing system 10 includes: an operating cube 11, a pressure sensor 12, a pressure movement detection unit 13, an operation recognition unit 14, and a processing execution unit 15. The operation cube 11 is a cube to be held and moved in operation. The pressure sensor 12 detects a pressure applied to each point on the surface of the operating cube 11. The pressure movement detection unit 13 detects, based on the pressure detection result by the pressure sensor 12, a movement of the pressure application position on the surface of the operating cube 11. The operation recognition unit 14 recognizes a motion of the operation cube 11 by use of the detection result by the pressure movement detection unit 13.
