<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure and digitize the string height of a stringed instrument. <P>SOLUTION: The measurement string of a magnetic body is stretched in the stringed instrument to be measured, and a U-shaped magnetic body is placed on a neck with a gap between the U-shaped magnetic body and the measurement string, to constitute a magnetic circuit with the gap. When a primary coil and a secondary coil which intersect the magnetic circuit are placed on the magnetic circuit, mutual inductance between them is changed depending on the size of the gap. The size of the gap is calculated by measuring the change by a primary current and an induced secondary voltage, and the string height which is a distance between the musical instrument neck and the string is measured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
