PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform zoom imaging in an enlargement imaging mode without causing upsizing of a lens device. SOLUTION: The lens device includes a photographic optical system including a plurality of lens units L1 to L4, and zoom mechanisms 5 and 9 changing magnification of the photographic optical system by moving at least some of the plurality of lens units in an optical axis direction. The lens device has an ordinary imaging mode in which magnification is changed between a telephoto end and a wide end, and the enlargement imaging mode in which enlargement imaging is performed at a subject distance shorter than in the ordinary imaging mode.
