摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crank arm capable of increasing torque even when the force applied to an end of a crank arm is the same, by changing the end of the crank arm into an elliptic motion, because conventionally an end of a crank arm performs a circular motion and torque is constant when the force applied to the end of the crank arm is the same. SOLUTION: The crank arms are structured to be extendable in a pair and so that a crank arm root is fixed onto a drive shaft and the end runs on an ellipse rail 5 formed integrally with a drive shaft bearing portion by a guide roller, thus developing an ellipse motion and increasing torque even when the force working on the end of the crank arm is the same.
