PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface protective film inhibiting the generation of static electricity itself on peeling and capable of inhibiting the soiling of an adherend by peeling electrostatic charge and the generation of hindrance caused by spark, etc., by the peeling electrostatic charge, even in the cases of applying the surface protective film on a hard coat treatment by using a fluorine-containing compound or silicon-containing compound, or on a functional layer formed by a low reflection treatment or an anti-fouling treatment as the adherend. SOLUTION: This surface protective film pasted on the adherend by taking the functional layer formed by the treatment using the fluorine-containing compound or silicon-containing compound as the adherend is provided by having an adhesive layer formed on the substrate film surface and at least adding an antistatic agent and >0.005 and <5 pts.mass range compound containing fluorine or silicon in its structure from outside based on 100 pts.mass acrylic adhesive, to the acrylic adhesive constituting the adhesive layer.
