PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology in which discharge of a plasma display panel is stabilized by making magnesium oxide large in diameter and adjusting the remaining quantity of impurities in the magnesium oxide. SOLUTION: Discharge stabilizing material particles are coated on a protection film layer to protect an electrode and supply abundant priming particles to the discharge zones. Discharge delay is controlled by making the impurities in the magnesium oxide used as a discharge stabilizing material respectively to be 20 ppm or less. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
