<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further enhance stability of a vehicle by finding earlier the possibility that a vehicle condition enters an unstable area, and starting a control. <P>SOLUTION: A pre-sideslipping condition, being a condition before entering the unstable area R2 where the vehicle has gone into sideslipping, is subjected to detection. When the pre-sideslipping condition is detected, braking force is generated for a rear wheel on the outside of the turning circle. The braking force generated for a rear wheel on the outside of the turning circle increases a load applied to wheels on the outside of the turning circle; thereby increasing a lateral force of the vehicle. This makes the sideslipping of the vehicle less likely to occur, suppressing in advance the deterioration of the vehicle behavior such as a so-called slow spin. Therefore, it is enabled to enhance the stability of the vehicle, by finding earlier the possibility that vehicle condition could enter the unstable area, and starting a control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
