<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem wherein there is a limit in softening the initial contact of a stopper rubber causing impact sounds when the stopper rubber abuts on a body member for securing necessary hardness to surely serve a function of a stopper in the stopper rubber. <P>SOLUTION: This stopper rubber is mounted on a rebound stopper 14 provided at a strut mount 13 disposed between a body member 12 and the upper end of a piston rod 11 of a shock absorber constituting a strut-type suspension of an automobile, the rebound stopper 14 regulating the lower displacement of the piston rod 11 when the suspension rebounds. A stopper surface 17a abutting on the body member 12 when the piston rod 11 is displaced downward is provided with a cylindrical protrusion 18 projected toward the body member 12, and a rubber body 17 forming the stopper surface 17a is formed with a space 19 facilitating deformation when the cylindrical protrusion 18 abuts on the body member 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
