PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of a differential lock lever during turning. SOLUTION: This walking type plant husbandry machine 10 includes a working shaft 41 for transmitting a drive force from a transmission case 20 to a work device, axles 22L, 22R which are pivotally supported on the transmission case and which transmit the drive force to traveling wheels 30L, 30R, respectively, a differential device 60 for differentially rotating the axles, and a steering handle 51 which is provided to extend to the rear upper part of the transmission case and at the rear end of which a holding part 51a grasped by a worker is formed. The walking type plant husbandry machine further includes a differential lock lever 57 provided at a position which is located under the holding part and to which the worker can easily make an access so as to be rotated to the upper and lower sides with respect to the steering handle and a differential lock device 70 for restraining the differential motion of the differential device in conjunction with the operation of the differential lock lever. When the differential lock lever is set to the lock operation position, the differential lock device is brought into the state of "operation", and when the differential lock lever is set to the unlock position, the differential lock device is brought into the state of "unlock".
