PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine automatic stop control device inhibiting deterioration of emission even if automatic stop conditions are canceled by re-acceleration by driver's stepping in an accelerator pedal in a device controlling air fuel ratio to a rich side before engine automatic stop. SOLUTION: This device includes an automatic stop demand determination part (step S6) determining existence of an engine automatic stop demand, a before-engine-automatic-stop rich control part (step S7) controlling air fuel ratio to the rich side when it is determined that an automatic stop demands is raised by the automatic stop demand determination part, and a lean control part (step S11) making air fuel ratio in re-acceleration leaner than normal air fuel ratio controlled based on driver's acceleration operation when acceleration demand based on the driver's acceleration operation is raised before automatic stop even though an engine automatic stop demand exists.
