The invention relates to a method for wirelessly powering a load (RL) over an inductive link, wherein the inductive link is between a primary side (2-A, 4-A, 5-A) and a secondary side (2-B, 4-B, 5-B). The invention is known in transmitting a first power from the primary side to the secondary side; receiving by the primary side a modulated data signal from the secondary side (2-B, 4-B, -B);demodulating the received data signal; determining, based on the de- modulated data signal, whether to transmit power to the load; and transmitting, based on the determination, power to the load (RL) of the secondary side (2-B, 4-B, 5-B) over the inductive link. |
